A snap of the new Grand Theft Auto: Online racing update posted by Rockstar

Grand Theft Auto: Online has just got a new update, that features new Deathmatch and Race Creator tools that adds the ability to "craft your own custom blood-soaked gunfights, high-octane street races, screaming jet dogfights and more".

That's just the beginning, because Rockstar has just announced that Grand Theft Auto V will get an all-new single-player Story Mode DLC (Downloadable Content) in 2014! Unlike Grand Theft Auto IV that introduced new protagonists and stories with the DLCs, the Grand Theft Auto V Story DLC will be a part of the main storyline and will put you back in the exciting lives of Michael, Franklin and Trevor. Rockstar has stated on their official website:

GTAV Story Mode Updates. For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.

There's not only single-player content coming out, Grand Theft Auto: Online will be getting an update the majority of GTA Online players have been asking for, Online Heists! This update will also be coming out in 2014. Rockstar's statement:

GTA Online Heists. We know many of you in the GTA Online community are super excited for the debut of co-operative Heists. Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and as fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more detail in the New Year.

The fifth era and the fifteenth game, of the world extremely popular open world action-adventure video game was announced back in 25 October 2011, with the debut trailer being released on 2 November 2011. The game is being developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. GTA V will be set in the fictional Los Santos, which is in the state of San Andreas and it's surrounding areas, based on the modern-day Los Angeles and Southern California. Los Santos was one of the 3 cities earlier in GTA: San Andreas, is in the third era of the series.

Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer will feature ''crews'' similar to Max Payne 3, the new Social Club will feature allow the players to play across multiple titles, starting from Max Payne 3 and GTA V. The crews that a player sets up in one game will be carried over to the other. The crews will allow players to form private crews with friends or join public ones. The players can be in up to 5 groups at the same time and completing tasks as a crew will gain experience points for the player.

Not a lot is known about the game, but over time, Rockstar has released a debut trailer and several screen shots of the game.
