Hideki Kamiya, the director of the original Devil May Cry game, has been known as a sarcastic person. Whenever he was talked to about Devil May Cry, he dismissed it. He would always reply with something like he has nothing to do with it anymore, and he once tweeted that Dante "left" him, referring to how Capcom stole the project from him and gave Devil May Cry to Hideaki Itsuno.
After lots of ressistence and trolling, he finally changed his reply when Devil May Cry was brought up. He said "Ask Capcom", referring to the fact it was them who took the project from him, not he who left Devil May Cry.
However, the events have took a different twist today. Hideki Kamiya finally gave in to the spirit, and when asked "How powerful was Eva as a witch, sir?" by Twitter user '@nomstring', Kamiya sarcastically replied "You'll see it in my new DMC.". That's right folks, he changed his reply to more positivity this time.
You'll see it in my new DMC. RT @nomstring How powerful was Eva as a witch, sir?

Then, Twitter user '@Dougrayman' asked him "how was sparda's human form? did he look like dante?", and Kamiya, not letting go a moment of another potential trolling moment, redirected him to the tweet above, "You'll see it in my new DMC". Though Doug deserved it in a way, how can you be a fan of Devil May Cry if you missed all those times you saw what Sparda looked like, both Demon and Human forms?!

But it doesn't end just here. Oh no, sir. Now, Kamiya is spreading hope. Twitter user '@RexMcCoolguy' replied to Kamiya's "You'll see it in my new DMC" that "Please don't toy with my heart like this, I won't be able to take it." and Kamiya replied "That's just my dream. Anyone can dream.". Yup, Kamiya just said it's his dream to make a new Devil May Cry game! Sarcastic or not, I'm dreaming with him!

And, user '@XGrabMyY' then tweeted Kamiya "Will your DMC be a proper continuation of Nero and Dante's story?" and Kamiya redirected him/her to an older tweet of his which read "Who's Nero?" as a reply to a tweet by '@DeliusTekken' saying "please convince capcom for make remake dmc or dmc5 starring Nero ok? please kamiya san, i love you, kiss".
He also later replied to a tweet saying "im a fan of the older dmc games" with the smiley ":)". If you don't know yet, that smiley is currently Kamiya's reply to topics he chooses not to say anything- or simply has no suitable words.
Although no one knows for sure if he is joking or he really dreams of making a new Devil May Cry game, you gotta love his sarcasm. I mean, he IS the person who created Dante and gave him the sarcastic humour we all know and love. I'm still rooting for a new Devil May Cry one way or another, and I don't mean a continuation to the reboot!
