First Look Of The All-New Deadpool Vs Carnage

Fans of Deadpool and Carnage, time to get excited! Marvel is working on a Deadpool vs Carnage comic! In this awesome-looking comic, for the first time ever, Deadpool and Carnage will clash paths in a bloody battle. It will be a four-issue mini-series which will launch in April 2014. It is being written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Salva Espin. The duo also worked on Deadpool Kills Deadpool before.

IGN has interviewd Cullen Bunn and Salva Espin, and in the interview, here are some important points from the interview:

  • Cullen Bunn: This series stands on its own in that regard. You don’t really need to read any of the other Deadpool books. But this story does take place in main Marvel Universe… if you’re into that sort of thing.
  • Cullen Bunn: Adding Spider-Man would only take away from Deadpool and Carnage, so he won’t be showing up in this series. There will be a few recognizable supporting characters in the book, but the spotlight will be focused on the title characters.
  • Salva Espin: Essentially, it is the same ‘Pool-visual style, but with the addition of Carnage´s insanity. This series will be more raw than the others Deadpool series that I have drawn. I´m a fan of both characters, cause I love mad characters, and the action scenes that Cullen writes have plenty of humor and blood. So for a fan of movies like Army of Darkness this series is a dream come true! I hope that the readers enjoy this series as much as I´m enjoying drawing it!

IGN also provided some uncoloured pages from Issue #1 of the comic, drawn by Salva Espin:

The comic looks pretty awesome, and no wonder it will be the talk of the comic-book lovers these days.
