Father Murdered His 21-Month-Old Daughter Who Survived Cancer

A 25 year old father in New York, Ryan Lawrence, has admitted to murdering his 21-month-old daughter, Maddox Lawrence. He left the mother a note saying he may hurt himself or their daughter, then took her away from their home, then beat her with a wooden baseball bat, and burned her body before dumping it into a stream in the Onondaga Creek in Syracuse.

Before turning 1 year old, Maddox Lawrence was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer called 'retinoblastoma', which she had survived. This gathered her a lot of attention, and according to reports, this seems to be the cause of jealousy in the father, who then went on to commit the horrific crime.

Before Ryan was found, the mother had begged at a press conference in February 21, asking Ryan to "please just bring Maddox home", and continuing:

Ryan please, just please, call. We just want to know that the both of you are safe. The whole family loves you. The whole family wants you both home. We just want to know you’re in a good place.

Ryan was eventually found within days of that.

He pleaded guilty to first-degree-murder, and will spend 25 years in prison, to which he is sentenced to in the next month.

According To Google, Barack Obama is Metrosexual

On Google, if you search a word, the search engine instantly generates a definition picked up from a website such as Wikipedia, as well as a picture from a, often random, website.

Earlier Google generated controversy for showing the picture of India's current Prime Minister, Nirendra Modi, when someone searched "Top 10 criminals" list on Google Images. After it made it in news and generated the controversy, Google eventually fixed that.

I was searching up different words for getting a better idea of their meaning and different ways of usage, when I happened to search 'Metrosexual'. Apparently as Google generated it's definition from Wikipedia, it picked up a picture for it from a blog, and the picture is an edit of the US President Barack Obama.

According to Google's search, Barack Obama is metrosexual. If this was a more commonly searched thing, it might have become a topic of interest or have caused a few laughs and giggles. But it appears so that it's not a popular topic, so it's not as known. Regardless, it's funny.

Chicago Man Warns President Obama Not To Touch His Girlfriend

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, was standing at a voting booth, and next to him on another voting booth was Aia Cooper. Suddenly, the fiancé of Aia Cooper, Mike Jones, walked by and told the President, "Mr. President, don't touch my girlfriend".

The woman became embarrassed while the President quickly said "You know... I...I really wasn't planning on it". The woman said "I am sorry, please excuse him" with a nervous laughter. The President continued, saying "There's an example of a brother just ... just embarrassing you for no reason. Just for no reason whatsoever", while the woman embarrassingly laughed and kept repeating "I understand, I understand", then followed with "I knew he was going to say something smart". President Obama also continued talking, as he said "And now... you'll be going back home and talking with your friends. What's his name?", to which Aia replied "Mike", still laughing uncontrollably.

Then the President sarcastically impersonated Aia Cooper, saying she will be saying(in her story when she gets home) that "I can't believe Mike... he is such a fool", to which Aia said "He really is", while the President continued "‘I was just mortified. Fortunately, the president was nice about it. So it’s all right", while still laughing uncontrollably, Aia said "I am freaking out right now".

Then the President stated that "Mike seems like a decent guy".

Then President Obama gave the woman a hug and a kiss on her cheek, saying "Now, he's really jealous".

Aia Cooper later told WLS-TV after voting that "He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Just the cheek", following it with a sarcastic comment "Michelle, don't come after me!".

100-Year-Old Woman Raped Inside Her House In The Middle of The Night

The police of Wichita, Kansas has confirmed that a 100-year-old woman has been raped inside her home early this week.

According to Captain Troy Livingston, the 100-year-old woman walked to the house of a neighbour at around 7:15AM on Tuesday and told him that there were two people inside her house. She said that she was awakened from her sleep by the intruders in her house. After officers arrived, they determined that her house had been broken into.

Although there was some confusion about the victim, as she is very old, but after the forensic medical testing was out, it was confirmed that she was indeed sexually assaulted.

The woman lives alone at her house around the northwest of Lincoln and Oliver, and the Police believe that this was a routine burglary but the intruders saw the sexual assault as an extra crime of opportunity. 

Captain Livingston said that 

All rape is a deplorable crime, but when you look at the age of our victim...it's a vile crime.

Fearing that the residents may be frightened by the incident, the captain offered some basic tips such as to lock the doors and windows and watch out for anyone behaving suspiciously. Also saying that 

We live in a community, and we look out for each other. People should be encouraged to call in suspicious activity. If you see something, say something.

The police is currently looking for clues and have done an extensive search of the surrounding neighbourhood and interviewed residents. However, they do not have any suspects as of yet. The police would like anyone with more information about the incident to call the 'Crime Stoppers' at 316-267-2111, while you can also submit information on the website of the WichitaCrimeStoppers. Another alternative is that you can send information by texting TIP217 and sending the message to 274637.

14 Years Old Dutch Girl Arrested For Sending Terrorist Threat To American Airlines and The US Airways Apologises For Tweeting Explicit Picture

A 14-year-old Dutch girl was arrested for tweeting a threat to the American Airlines' twitter account.

The girl was arrested in Rotterdam on Monday for tweeting the threat. The girl whose Twitter name is 'Sarah', tweeted to American Airlines that her name is "Ibrahim" and she's from Afghanistan, and that she's a member of Al Qaeda and would do something "really big"(picture above).

American Airlines eventually saw the tweet and replied to her that they take these threats "very seriously" and that her IP address and details will be "forwarded to security and the FBI"(picture above).

Following American Airlines' tweet, the girl panicked and post several tweets to American Airlines' twitter account, writing that she was "kidding" and that she's "so sorry" and "scared now". She kept on tweeting, writing that "I was just joking and it was my friend, not me, take her IP address not mine", along with other multiple tweets(picture above).

The Rotterdam Police Department then arrested her on Monday for the terrorist threats. The police department stated that the girl could face criminal charges for the tweet.

The girl was eventually released later, but remained a suspect, pending an investigation and that it is up to American Airlines to decide whether they want to press charges or not.

According to The New York Times, she later offered to auction her Twitter account and made a $500 starting bid, writing "I feel famous omg". But that went nowhere, as her Twitter account has been suspended.


However, the story does not end here. American Airlines most likely thought that this would set up an example for other internet trolls, but this just caused threatening American Airlines to become a threat, following hundreds of copy cats/terrorist threatening tweets to the American Airlines twitter.

And just when you think the story with American Airlines and Twitter accounts is over, a new incident takes the headline!

The Twitter account of US Airways replied to an unhappy customer with a pornographic image(picture below). 

The customer tweeted a complain to the US Airways' Twitter account over a delayed flight from North Carolina to Oregon. US Airways' replied to the tweet with the words "We welcome feedback, Elle. If your travel is complete, you can detail here for review and follow up.", accompanied by a picture of a naked woman with a toy/model plane(picture below). The picture wasn't removed until about an hour, causing countless retweets, jokes and parodies of it. 

The original picture was uncensored. This picture is censored to keep the article non-explicit.

US Airways later issued an apology, saying that the picture was "inadvertently included" in the response to the customer and that they "immediately realised the error and removed out tweet". 

The Twitter account also saw an apology from the US Airways over the pornographic tweet, saying that they've "removed the tweet" and are "investigating":

Mother and Son Commit Suicide After Having An Argument Over League of Legends

In China, a 16 year old boy from Guangyuan in the Sichuan province headed straight to a local gaming cafe after school. The boy was an avid player of League of Legends. He did not return home by the evening, which worried his mother and she started searching every gaming cafe she could find and eventually found him. A loud argument broke out between the boy and his mother, in which his mother stated that:

You go online and I can’t control you, so I’ll just go die!

The mother then dragged her son to the banks of the nearby Jialing river and called her husband to tell him that she was going to kill herself. She walked out into the river and was quickly caught by the current, getting dragged under, with her son's attempts to save her in vain.

Then the father arrived and scolded and kicked his son. The son also plunged into the river himself, like his mother did. The father cried out and stated:

I also don’t want to live, I will go with you

But he was saved by cops before he could suicide like his wife and son did.

The mother and the son haven't been seen since and have been presumed dead. It is unknown what exactly led them to suicide, but it began with an argument over League of Legends. Although this is absolutely nothing to blame video games for, this will not stop the anti-gaming community to blame it on video games.

The Ultimate Warrior Dies At The Age of 54

Iconic and legendary WWE wrestler, the Ultimate Warrior, has passed away at the age of 54.

Days before his death, he had appeared on the "Monday Night RAW" event of WWE, where he gave a speech that people believe to have foreshadowed his own death. His speech was:

No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat; his lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory. You are the legend-makers of Ultimate Warrior.

Mr. Hellwig, who had legally changed his name to Warrior and went by the ring-name Ultimate Warrior, was one of the most influential and popular WWE stars of his career days. His career was 15 years long, spanning from 1985 to 98, with his most memorable years in the career being from 1987 to 91. His victory against Hulk Hogan on the Wrestlemania VI, becoming the WWE Champion is one of the most memorable matches in the history of Pro Wrestling.

WWE announced his death in a statement, with no cause of death revealed. The statement was:

WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.

The Ultimate Warrior had recently been added into the Hall of Fame. After his death, many WWE personalities paid their condolences, such as Paul Heyman, Tripple H, Hulk Hogan, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Chris Jericho, and others. Fans are also very saddened by his loss and have mourned his death.

Woman Attempted To Be Robbed While Talking About The Crime Rate on Live TV in Brazil

A Brazillian woman nearly got robbed on live TV in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The woman, ironically, was giving an interview about the high crime rate and the lack of police in the area, when a thief appeared out of nowhere and attempted to snatch the woman's gold necklace.

However, as he grabbed it and tried to pull it off, it broke and fell, leaving him empty handed as he ran across the road in the on-coming traffic, while a member of the camera crew of the RJTV news-channel who were interviewing the woman tried to give him chase but failed due to the thief's high speed.

Facebook Is Removing Messaging From The iOS and Android App, Forcing Users To Use The Messenger

Facebook is removing the messaging feature from it's iOS and Android app, forcing users to use the Messenger app for messaging/chating with their Facebook friends. In certain European countries, users are already starting to see notifications that over the next few weeks they will have to install the Messenger app in order to continue sending and receiving Facebook messages on their smartphones.

A Facebook spokesperson told TheNextWeb that the company has found that the users get 20% faster replies on the Messenger app than on the normal Facebook app. He added that:

We have built a fast and reliable messaging experience through Messenger and now it makes sense for us to focus all our energy and resources on that experience. From this week onwards, more people will be notified of the change. Facebook will be removing the messaging feature from its Android and iOS apps in "a handful of countries" over the next couple of weeks. People will have several notices before this change takes place and will have opportunities to learn more about Messenger and its features.

According to TheNextWeb, the change wont affect low-end Android devices with memory constraints, which would allow them to chat with the normal Facebook app without having to download the Messenger app. The iPad Facebook app will also keep the messaging feature as well. Whether people accept the idea of having two Facebook apps for the full usage, is yet to be seen.

Woman Throws A Shoe At Hillary Clinton During Her Speech In Las Vegas

During her speech in Las Vegas on a stage, a woman threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton ducked and dodged the shoe, and then joked about it saying:

Is that somebody throwing something at me? Is that part of Cirque de Soleil?

People in the audience laughed and applauded at Hillary Clinton's joke and she continued saying:

My goodness, I didn't know that solid waste management was so controversial. Thank goodness she didn't play softball like I did.

After the woman threw the shoe, she was quickly arrested. She admitted to throwing the shoe, however, did not tell why she did it. U.S. Secret Service supervisory special agent Brian Spellacy said the woman was being questioned and would face criminal charges. According to FoxNews, an attendee handed a piece of paper to a reporter that was apparently thrown by the woman, which was a copy of a Department of Defense document labelled confidential and dated August 1967, referring to an operation "Cynthia" in Bolivia.

The incident is similar to what happened in December 2008 in a news conference in Baghdad, when two shoes were thrown at former President George W. Bush, both which he dodged.

Teenager William Brandon Aydelott Brutally Murdered His Mother

On Christmas Eve, when people celebrate quality time with their families, in Florida, 17 year old William Brandon Aydelot brutally murdered his mother Sharon Aydelott. He brutally attacked his mother with a baseball bat and then stabbed her eye with a large kitchen knife, killing her. There were also other stab wounds. He then left and his mother was later found with the knife in her eye socket. The police found him at a house he has been living in for a while after he and his mother started having fights, and he was taken in for questioning where William confessed to the murder.


35 Year Old Mother Kills Her 13 Year Old Daughter

A 35 year old murder was arrested by the police for killing her 13 year old daughter. The murderer, Connie Villa, attempted to kill all four of her children and her ex-husband on the Christmas day. She is charged with first-degree murder for killing her daughter, 13-year-old Aniarael Macias, who was found dead in the bathroom of the family apartment. She called her ex-husband, Adam Villa, to the family apartment and then stabbed him repeatedly. However, he was able to escape and he called the police while driving himself to the hospital. When the police arrived, they found her younger three children and Connie safe, and after taking them to the hospital it was revealed that Connie tried to poison her children. She now faces a first-degree murder charge, four charges of attempted murder for allegedly trying to kill Adam Villa and her three other children. The younger daughters are now under the care of Adam Villa's family.


Pregnant Teenager Murdered By Her Boyfriend

In Chicago, a 17 year old pregnant teenager was shot in the back of the head on Christmas day. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the 16 year old Anthony Lee and his 21 year old brother Diante Lamont Coakley were charged with the murder of the 17 year old teenager Eva Casara, who was 5 months pregnant. The murder was unintentional, and it happened during an attempted drug-deal, which went wrong and the two brothers started shooting, and the teenager was shot in the back of the head. Dolton Police Chief John Franklin has stated that Eve was just "at the wrong place at the wrong time" and that they are looking for a third suspect. 

Man Shot 7 Times With A 9mm Handgun

Deneshion M. Swope, 21, is facing 3 counts of first-degree murder for shooting Jarrett D. Mosby, 21, seven times with a 9mm Handgun. Jarett D. was found dead in the front seat of a Pontiac in the early hours of Christmas. He was a student of University of Missouri and was in the area for visiting his relatives in the holiday season. The police has determined in the investigation that Deneshion and Jarett had earlier in the day agreed to meet in the day so Deneshion could purchase marijuana from Jarett. Jarett picked up Deneshion in his car and they got into an argument, in which Deneshion shot Jarett at 10th and State streets in East St. Louis then took the car to Madison, where it was found with the dead body of Jarett, according to the police. Deneshion will most likely face first-degree murder charges.
