A judge has ruled the pausing of a road-building highway project because it might have an effect on the 'Elves' living there. According to Mirror News, Elf advocates in Iceland joined forces with environentalists to prevent the Icelandic Road and Coastal Commission from building a road on the area believed to be home to Elves. Between the course of the to-be-built road, there is an 'Elf Church', and people believe that Elves might live around there and the road could destroy the church and the Elves. Since a campaign run by 'Friends of Lava' got a large support, the road project has been halted until the Supreme Court of Iceland rules the issue, either cancelling or building the road.

Chinese Woman Has Been Living Underground for 20 Years

A 66 year old Chinese woman called Quan Youzhi has been living underground in the tunnels for over 20 years. Everyday she climbs down in the tunnels and spends the night there. She does not work there, but call the place home. The deserted underground compartment is near the Lido Park in the Chaoyang district, Beijing. The reason she told for living there is without a doubt, that she has no money. She lives there mainly in Winter because it is warm at the time, while in Summer she has to stay above-ground because it gets too hot in there. She has told that the officers shut down the lid but she opened her way down by using a saw when they left. Her 68 years old husband, Liu Wancang, lives in a similar tunnel but they rarely communicate because "he often quarrels with me".

Now, the interesting part is that they did not have any electric cables, instead they connected AK-47 guns to the batteries as a source of sending energy to the batteries, and it worked out.
