With Chromium, you always get the most recent and updated version.Improved browsing speed.
Example:
If Google Chrome is version 14.0 then Chromium would be version 16.0, because of that, it is better and improved in browsing speed.
Cons
Sometimes Chromium builds without testing some of its features.
