Google ending downloads hosting in Google Code

On May 20, Google posted on the Official Google Open Source Blog that they are changing the download service for all projects. All existing projects that have no downloads, and new projects, will not be able to upload new content for download. Those projects that already have downloads will see no changes until January 14, 2014 and will not be able to create new downloads starting from January 15, 2014. The existing downloads in these projects will still be able to be downloaded. Google has advised users who need to create new downloads for their projects to use an alternative service such as Google Drive.

The reason for this has been stated because of "misuse" of the service.

The Copenhagen Wheel

An American company called Superpedestrian Inc. has created a new kind of bycicle wheel that can store energy while you use it, and when you need help it can provide you a boost of energy that you saved up earlier. It stores the energy when you use brakes or it's going downhill, and stores it in it's integrated lithium battery pack. It gives you the boost when you paddle harder, keeping the experience normal yet making the bike faster. It also has Bluetooth 4.0 and uses Android OS. You can download it's mobile app which allows you to "lock/unlock your wheel, chose amongst a menu of customizable rides, and track personal usage statistics including time, distance, calories burned, elevation climbed and more, all of which can be compared and shared with friends".

It's limited edition costs $699, and after the limited edition-time is over and it is out on regular sale, it will cost $799.
