Top 10 Unforgettable Games You Wouldn't Wanna Miss

Important Note:
This article is very old and was created even before the blog started itself. It represents our early days and our opinions have changed greatly now, as we have evolved as both critics and gamers. However, we still consider these games fun to play and would recommend our readers to try them out, as they are entertaining at least for one playthrough.

So, long story short, this article is simply for archive purposes, or a recommendation of a few decent games to play.

10.Rayman Raving Rabbids (Xbox 360/PC/PS2/Wii)

Rayman Raving Rabbids spin-off in the Rayman Series which consists of over 70 mini-games. The game is developed and published by Ubisoft. The game was mainly designed for Nintendo Wii, but is also released in Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance and Mobile, but these versions are different then the other versions. The game is very entertaining, the mini-games are very fun to play, the controls can be hard, but it is very fun to manage all the controls, which have you shaking your gamepads/Wiimotes all around. The game features two modes:


Story Mode:
You have to get through all the mini-games and earn the required score to finish the game.

Score Mode:
Earn as much score as you can and have fun with the mini-games.

The game features very small cutscenes before the start of each mini-game, alongside with an opening movie and an ending movie. The game's soundtrack features many cool ''kid'' songs, which are fun to listen and match the game completely, specially the mini-games where you have to dance, the music really matches it. The game also includes the theme of ''Pulp Fiction'' in several mini-games. The game is overall very fun to play, be it alone or with friends, the game is fun on every console.




9.Dead To Rights (PC/Xbox/PS2/GameCube)

Dead To Rights is the first instalment in the 3rd Person Shooter series. The game was developed and Published by Namco. It was first released in Xbox, then it was released in PS2, GameCube and then later on, in Windows. The game also has a Gameboy Advance version, which received very bad reviews, because the game completely lacks what made the original version popular. The game features a very good story-line, along with nice, action filled cinematics. The game features bullet-time machenic. The game features gun fights and fist fights. The game has ''dis-arms'' in which you have to press several buttons to perform action scenes which are mostly in slow-motion, and by doing so, you take the weapon of your enemy. The protagonist, Jack Slate, has a K-9 short as well, which is used to attack your enemies and the player takes control of the K-9 in order to get into areas to complete puzzles where a human can't enter. The thing that made the game very great was the story, cinematic, and the stylish gameplay mechanics.


8. Tekken 5 (Arcade/PS2)

Tekken 5 is the sixth instalment in the Tekken Series. Tekken 5 is developed and published by Namco. It was first released in the Arcades on 2004 and in Sony PlayStation 2 on 2005. Tekken 5 is canon and has a character rooster of  32 characters, both returning and new ones. The gameplay of Tekken 5 is very advanced and the graphics are very improved then the older Tekken games. It has a different style of gameplay than every Tekken game, featuring a open environment and very fast gameplay. The game is very interesting and fun to play, specially in Versus mode. Tekken 5 was the first game ever to feature Customizations for all the playable characters. The game features many different modes which are:

Story Battle:
Play the story of every playable character, which includes prologue, several cutscenes and epilogue+ending.

Arcade Battle:
Arcade Battle allows players to play Tekken 5 arcade-style, face never ending oponents and earn ranks for them, the higher rank you reach, you face harder oponents. Customizations work in the Arcade mode and your oponents have the customizations as well (random customizations from CPU).

Time Attack:
In the Time Attack mode, players fight 9 different opponents with unchangeable settings, 2 rounds, 60 seconds a round and on normal difficulty level.

VS Battle:
Versus Mode allows you to fight real opponents, requiring 2 controllers.

Team Battle:
Team Battle allows you to select from 1 to 8 characters of your choice and fight against a real opponent or CPU opponents.

Survival:
In Survival mode, you fight off against as many opponents as possible without losing, if you take damage, you will only recover a small amount of health in the next match.

Practice:
Practice mode allows you to practice your moves and other stuff against Dummy Opponents with some other options, you can also see demonstrations of moves and combo's.

Tekken: Devil Within
Devil Within is a mini-game, which features action and adventure, where you fight several Jack's and other enemies and the final boss is Ogre.

The game also features the Arcade versions of the first 3 Tekken games, Tekken, Tekken 2 and Tekken 3. Tekken 5 is one of the best games in the series, and it never gets you bored.

7.Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (PS2/Xbox)

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is an action adventure/beat-em-up game. It is the ninth game in the Mortal Kombat Series. The game is developed by Midway L.A./Paradox Development and published by Midway Games. The game was released in 2005. The game features a pretty good story-line, along with having many characters making an appearance. The game takes place in the events between ''Mortal Kombat'' and ''Mortal Kombat 2''. The game features a completely different kind of gameplay, which is an open and free world, and the game is completely 3D. The game features many combo's and fatalities, and the game keeps the gore up. The game features nice locations, the Mortal Kombat feel, and cool cinematics. The game has many unlockable things, through puzzles or specific tasks, to unlock ''secrets'' which are mostly unlockables, such as new characters for story-mode, CO-OP and Versus Mode, along with ''Mortal Kombat 2''. The game features three modes:

Single Player:

Choose between Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Scorpion(unlockable) and Sub-Zero(unlockable). and play the story of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.

KO-OP

Two players can play the story-mode of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monk together, which allows you to unlock some things which can only be unlocked in KO-OP and also that some areas cannot be explored in Single Player mode.

Versus Mode:

1 on 1 fighting mode.

The game is very fun to play, the secrets make it a very long game, otherwise, the game is very short. The game is filled with surprises and action, and it leaves you wanting more once its finished.

6.Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening (PS2/PC)

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is action/hack and slash game. It is the third game in the Devil May Cry series. It is developed and published by Capcom. The game was first released in Sony PlayStation 2 on 2005 and then was released in PC on 2006, published by Ubisoft. The game is a prequel to the original Devil May Cry, featuring a younger Dante. The story-line of the game is pretty good, featuring cool cinematics and stylish gameplay. The game was the first Devil May Cry to have many combo's and the new ''Style'' system. The game recieved very good reception and an upgraded version, ''Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition'' was released later on, with some new features. The game is over-all very fun to play, and thus, it is one of the best Devil May Cry games.



5.Black (PS2/Xbox)

Black is a first person shooter game. It is developed by Criterion Games and published by EA Games. The game was released on 2006, and re-released as ''Xbox Originals'' on 2008. The game features real recorded cinematics, along with cinema-style gameplay and realistic gun sounds and warfare. The game has great graphics and great gameplay, it also features a very advanced style, with modern weapons and every weapon is based on real weapons. The game is very hard in difficulty and the saving system can be annoying at times. But the game is awesome and offers great gameplay.








4.Gears Of War 2 (Xbox 360)


Gears Of War is a third person shooter game. It is the second game in the Gears Of War Series. It is developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The game was released on 2008. The game is very much improved from Gears Of War. The graphics are major then the first game, the story-line is much better and the gameplay is faster, more stylish and open. The locations are well designed, along with great textures. The game features epic-cutscenes and the game has a bigger feel then the first game. Gears Of War 2 never gets you bored, it is filled with surprises on every step, along with shocks in the story-line. The game is based on a very customized version of Unreal Engine 3. The game is really entertaining, it leaves you wanting more and more of it once its finished.






3.Pince Of Persia Warrior Within (Xbox/PS2/PC/GameCube/PS3/PSP/iOS)


Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within is an action-adventure video game. Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within is the sequel to Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, thus the second game in the Prince Of Persia series. It is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Pipeworks Software and published by Ubisoft. It was released in PC, Sony PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube on 2004, it was released for PlayStation 3 and iOS on 2010. A mobile version was also released on 2004. An upgraded version of Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within was released on PlayStation Portable, called ''Prince Of Persia: Revelations'' on 2005. Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within is very different than Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time in many ways. The game is very mature, the game has blood-gore, it is more faster and full of action then its predecessor. The game features rock soundtracks mixed with classical music. The game's design is very impressive, the graphics are great. The puzzles are very interesting, the puzzles are fun. The game has two endings, a good ending and a real ending. The game has many surprises and strategies, secret objects, funny objects and hidden lifes. The game is very well played, it takes you around the whole game with very impressive story-line with outstanding cutscenes which makes you feel like you are a part of the game. The gameplay is very great, giving you the opportunity to perform various combo's, use dual-wield weapons and become the ''Sand Wrath''. The game is very fantastic, it is a must play and it features great replay values as well. It never gets you bored and it is one of the best games in the series.


2.Resident Evil 4 (GameCube/PS2/PC/Wii/PS3/Xbox 360/Mobile)


Resident Evil 4 is an action-adventure/third person shooter/horror survival video game. Resident Evil 4 is the sixth instalment in the Resident Evil Series. The game is developed by Capcom Production/Studio 4 and published by Capcom. The game was released on 2005 for GameCube and PlayStation 2, it was released on 2007 for PC and Wii, it was released on Mobile Phones on 2008, iPhone on 2009, iPad on 2010, and it was released on 2011 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is different then the other Resident Evil games, featuring completely new gameplay mechanics. The game's design is outstanding, the graphics are nicely done with cool textures. The story-line is fantastic and the cutscenes are absolutely great. The game's all new system attracted many new fans to the series. The game is filled with great strategies, puzzles and very good survival-horror gameplay. The game doesn't bore you and it leaves you wanting after it is finished. The game includes many other modes then the normal game, such as the ''Mercenaries'' mode, which is a mode where you have a limited amount of time and you have to fight your way through several enemies to unlock new stages and characters for the mode. There is also a mode from the view of Ada Wong, you play as Ada Wong and uncover the events of Resident Evil 4 from the point of Ada Wong. There is another mode with is played as Ada Wong as well. The game also has unlockable outfits for Leon. Several mod's were released for the game later on for the PC version by un-official people.
The game overall is very outstanding.

1.God Of War (PS2/PS3)

God Of War is an action adventure/hack and slash video game which features many strategic moments and is heavily influenced by ''Greek Mythologies''. It is the first game in the God Of War series. It is directed by David Jaffe and written by Marianne Krawczyk, Alexander Stein, David Jaffe and Keith Fay. It is developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released on 2005 for Sony PlayStation 2, and was later re-released in HD for the God Of War Collection which was released for Sony PlayStation 3 on 2009. The game has great graphics, amazing textures, outstanding soundtrack and great gameplay. The gameplay of God Of War is unlike other games, it features action, adventure along with puzzles and strategy. The game sets off in the times of Greek Mythologies, where a Spartan Captain called Kratos, who has been winning many wars, but is about to lose a war and he promises Aries that if he destroys his enemies, Kratos's life will be Aries's. Then the game's real plot starts when Aries gets Kratos's family killed by Kratos's own hands, and then Kratos sets off for revenge against the God Of War, Aries. The game features fantastic and very epic story-line, which is well handled. The cinematics of the game are very great. Every single moment of the game is completely unforgettable. The game also features a ''Sex Mini-Game'' which became very popular through-out the fans and thus, the mini game was passed on to every single God Of War game then, except for the Mobile game, God Of War: Betrayal. Once you finish the game, you would want to play it again and again and would want more of the game once it is finished.
